Open-source software

PolyPotion loads the following third-party libraries at runtime. Their copyright and license notices are preserved as required. Each library remains the property of its respective authors and is used under the license shown.

three.js v0.160.0MIT 3D rendering engine used across every workspace. © 2010–2024 three.js authors.
React & React-DOM v18.3.1MIT UI runtime for the tool interfaces. © Meta Platforms, Inc. and affiliates.
@babel/standalone v7.29.0MIT In-browser JSX compilation. © Sebastian McKenzie and the Babel contributors.
@mediapipe/tasks-vision v0.10.14Apache-2.0 On-device pose, hand, and face landmark tracking for MoCap (with the Pose / Hand / Face Landmarker models). © Google LLC.
manifold-3d v3.2.1Apache-2.0 Exact mesh boolean (CSG) WASM solver used by the Boolean tool. © The Manifold Authors.
gifenc v1.0.3MIT GIF encoding for animation export. © Matt DesLauriers.
mp4-muxer v5.0.1MIT MP4 muxing for video export. © Vanilagy.

Full license texts for the MIT- and Apache-2.0-licensed components above are available from each project’s repository; copies can be requested at mat.github.vei@gmail.com.

Bundled assets

Animation clips — Adobe Mixamo. The motion library includes animation clips obtained from Adobe Mixamo. These are provided royalty-free by Adobe for use in creative projects under the Mixamo terms, but they are not PolyPotion’s property and are not covered by PolyPotion’s license.

Heads-up on redistributionAdobe’s Mixamo terms let you use the animations in your projects, but generally do not allow redistributing the raw clips as a standalone downloadable library or asset pack. If PolyPotion serves the original Mixamo files for download or re-use, confirm this is permitted under the current Mixamo terms — otherwise keep them as in-app motion data only, or replace them with clips you have the right to redistribute.

3D meshes — Meshy AI. Sample characters and meshes were generated privately with Meshy AI. Rights to generated 3D assets depend on the Meshy plan they were created under (paid plans typically grant the creator commercial rights; free-tier output may carry attribution or non-commercial conditions). Because these were generated on a private plan, the publisher believes redistribution within PolyPotion is permitted, but users should not assume any rights over these meshes beyond using the app.

If you intend to let users download or reuse the bundled meshes, verify the ownership and licensing terms of your Meshy plan for each asset, and keep a record of which plan produced them.

Any trademarks named here (Adobe, Mixamo, Meshy, and the software libraries above) belong to their respective owners and are referenced for identification only.

Camera use (MoCap)

The MoCap and Motion tools can use your device’s camera for pose, hand, and face tracking. The camera feed is processed entirely on your device — it is never recorded, stored, or transmitted to the Service Provider or any third party. Camera access is only requested when you start a live capture and stops when you leave the tool.
